Paris, 22 October 2021 – Moments Lab (ex Newsbridge) expands its Tech Team with the hire of Thibault Chassagnette, former AWS Software Development Engineer.

In his new position as Engineering Manager at Moments Lab, Chassagnette will be responsible for managing and growing the back, data and integration teams while also implementing an engineering vision that will impact scaling and product evolution.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Chassagnette is also entrusted to create new processes which will improve the developer experience at Moments Lab while working closely with the front-end and operations teams.

"I chose to work for Moments Lab because it's an exciting product and a new field for me. I look forward to helping deliver cutting edge features to our customers."

With a strong background in technical expertise, building and running distributed services and growing engineering teams, Chassagnette has been a Senior Java Engineer for the majority of his career across various companies (Fnac, FDJ, etc.).

He was also Technical manager in his ESN/SSII, responsible for a team of 12 devs working for different clients.

More recently, during his 5 years as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon and AWS in Vancouver BC, he had the opportunity to work across a variety of projects including AWS’ AmazonMQ service, HR recruitment technology, and marketing software creation.

At the same time, he also mentored 10 engineers, led the design and implementation of technical features, and carried out the recruitment of 30 new hires on various teams.

On behalf of the entire Moments Lab team we would like to extend a warm welcome to Thibault! 🤜 🤛
